In Java. How would one find a factorial of a number where the factorial is user input through a scanner?

Example: If you knew the value it would simply be something such as 4 * 3 * 2 * 1;

However, if you ask a scanner input and they put a 4 (or whatever number), would would you calculate it then? It's my understanding a loop would be needed. Could someone provided an example?
