This action angered the indigenous people and created feelings of resentment in them towards visitors to the island. As a student studying the impacts of tourism development on small island states, you are required to:

b) Identify and discuss with examples THREE (3) conditions that can cause locals to become resentful towards visitors to a destination.

c) Using relevant examples, discuss THREE (3) strategies that can be adopted by destinations to prevent feelings of resentment towards tourists.
