In March 2020, Paul Kalabwagila received an invitation to attend a corporate law and governance Summit to be held in Durban South Africa on July 15, 2020. The invitation required him to present a paper on the role of corporate governance to the performance of incorporated banks in Tanzania and be a lead discussant in the round table discussions on related topics later on the day. Paul has since, written his paper and polished it many times to make sure it delivers what was expected of him in his invitation. He has contained in the paper a conclusion that reads: "Therefore, it is undisputable that, despite their notable differences, corporate law and corporate governance are two sides of the same coin".
