In MASM, how would I go about converting a user input string (like "32144.221") into a float (real4) and then back into a string again using the FPU and STOSB/LODSB. In addition, how would I make sure the user input is actually something that would fit into a 32 bit register. I am mostly wondering how to use LODSB to parse through the string and convert each digit into a number that can be loaded into the float. I'd also like to know how to do the reverse. I'm trying to understand how the FPU instructions should be used to handle the number
