In my district, obtaining approval for research projects involves a formal process that includes securing a letter of approval from the central office and the schools involved. This procedure has led me to engage in numerous discussions with central office staff, particularly with the chief of data and assessment, regarding the optimal middle schools for my project and the most effective approach to take within these schools. These interactions have not only offered valuable insights into my project needs but have also highlighted the support I have from various stakeholders. This support is incredibly motivating as I progress through my doctoral program, emphasizing the importance of continuous collaboration with stakeholders to ensure the successful development of the Action Inquiry Project (AIP)
