In my opinion, one of the significant leadership behaviors highlighted by Yukl is "Networking" within the external meta-category. Networking involves the establishment and nurturing of relationships with individuals and entities outside the organization to acquire necessary information, resources, and support, as well as to promote and defend the interests of the team or organization (Yukl, 2012). This behavior holds crucial importance because it empowers leaders to tap into external expertise, remain abreast of industry trends and developments, access fresh opportunities for collaboration and partnership, and influence stakeholders beyond the immediate organizational boundaries. Networking facilitates the exchange of knowledge, aids in the formation of alliances and partnerships, and elevates the organization's visibility and reputation within its ecosystem. Through active engagement in networking activities, leaders can broaden their sphere of influence, harness external resources, and adeptly navigate intricate external environments, thereby making substantial contributions to the success and sustainability of their organizations
