In order to determine the amount of Direct Material, I have to add the amount of inventory that I started with to the amount of inventory that I sold and substract the price that I got in the end from my inventory. As for as Direct Labor, I must divide the amount of my finish product by the labor hours it took to produce each product. Lastly, in order to determine the dollar amount of Manufacturing Overhead, I would add the cost of everything that was related to process of manufacturing a product.
