In order to find out how people in the U.S. feel about the outcome of a recent criminal trial in which the defendant was found not guilty, a survey of 1,988 randomly selected Americans was conducted. The survey found that 1,630 (about 82%) of respondents were unhappy with the verdict. Participants were also asked how much time they had spent reading or watching news coverage about the trial during the last three days. The survey found that, on average, respondents had spent 92 minutes reading or watching news coverage about the trial during the last three days.
