In our traditional student $-$course database we have the relations ; Student$($Name$,$ Department$),$ CourseTitle, Department$),$ Enroll$($SName$,$ CTitle, Date, Grade$)$ Note the keys and note that the subject of a course, and the major of a student are taken from the same domain, Math, CS$,$ Biology, etc.
