In Part C #6, how do you write the piecewise function to represent the first part of each function in the graph? We understand how the latter parts of the function were derived: if x is less than or equal to -2; if -2 is less than or equal to x which is less than or equal to 2; and if x is greater than or equal to 2. But we don't understand how to the first part of each step is derived.
