The first group is led by Ali are using a 7447 decoder/driver IC meanwhile, the second group using a 7448 which is led by Safuan. Both groups connect their ICs to common-cathode 7-segment displays as shown in Figure 2. Figure 2: BCD to 7-segment Decoder/Driver The Safuan's group using the 7448 notices the LED segments glowing faintly, but the patterns are not correct for the digits that are supposed to be displayed. The Ali' group using the 7447 has an even worse problem which is no light at all. Both groups have checked and re-checked their wiring, to no avail. It seems as though all the connections are in the right place. Discuss the problem that happens in the circuit by using your own word.
