The goal of the program was to stop troubled teens from committing more crimes by scaring them with what life could become, yet research study after study showed that this did not work (Kolker, 2021).
We still want to make sure kids don't commit crimes, so would it be better to redirect the program as our research started showing signs of trouble, or would be better to trod to the end and hope for the best?
