In the Court of Appeal, judgment has been delivered directing Dodge to pay Sting a sum of K500, 000.00 in damages for assault and battery of him. The details of the case as were recorded by the Court of Appeal were that Sting was, on the 20th of November 2021 taking an evening stroll when, from nowhere, heard the thundering voice of Dodge telling him to stop or he would shoot him. In fact, Dodge, from Sting's explanation had a gun pointed at him with his hand ready to pull the trigger, because Sting had trespassed on his property. Sting was so petrified that he temporarily froze to human ice. This is why Sting did not take kindly to see Dodge laugh at him as he announced that he was just joking with him and that he was free to continue with his stroll.

Dodge is now in the Supreme Court on appeal against this judgment, and has for this task engaged you as a prominent lawyer to represent him. Please prepare submissions (in any form) in respect of the Supreme Court hearing.
