In the end, two years after negotiations first began, the boycott was halted. Coors agreed that the company would not orchestrate a campaign against the union and the union agreed not to attack Coors in any future organizing attempts. The company has regained thousands of accounts since the boycott officially ended, but in some areas groups continue to avoid the company's products. In November 1988, Coors and the Teamsters Union voted. On December 15, 1988, 72 percent of the eligible workers voted against the union. In 1990, the remaining unions were voted out.
