In the hotel industry, it is both important to maximize revenue. One of the ways to promote this is to determine which types of guests are spending the most money during their stays at the resort. We would like to determine if, on average, there is difference in what a guest spends relative to the distribution channel they booked through. The variable that we use for guest spending is "adr" (average daily rate) which takes into account the rate at which the guest books plus additive spending at the hotel. We also use "distribution_channel" as our factor variable which has treatments Corporate, Direct, Global distribution systems ("GDS"), and Travel Agencies ("TA/TO").
