In the last 2 years, Matt has expanded his restaurant "Minorchef", to cater to corporate functions. Last year he gave management of the catering to George, who started as an apprentice three years ago, and has not only completed the apprenticeship but showed outstanding talent in managing relationships with the catering clientele. George has got to know the catering clients very well. George was keen to try his hand as an entrepreneur (having had Matt as his mentor), and seen the financial success of the catering business, but is unsure whether or not to proceed, knowing most small businesses fail in the first few years. George approached his friend Pete (who owns half of another business called "NoKitchenRules") and asked him to be partners. George discussed the catering client list with Pete, from information he had copied into his own notebook, and last week resigned to begin the new partnership restaurant venture with Pete. Now that Matt has resumed management of the catering activities, several clients have mentioned that George has contacted them to let them know of his new business venture. Matt is alarmed and annoyed to hear of this, and somewhat worried about any loss of business.
