In the lifecycle of a process, it may be in a Waiting state $($i$.$e$.,$ it is blocked from the CPU usage$).$ During the Waiting state, the process may be kept in the memory or swapped out. If the goal of blocking a process is to prevent the blocked process from using resources, why don$$t we only have $$blocked and swapped$?$ Why a separate option of $$staying in the memory$?$
