In this discussion, you and your team are going to be working on a team charter. A team charter helps you define roles and expectations so that you are all on the same page. This can help your team be more successful and mitigate conflict. Team charters provide an opportunity for your team to discuss roles and responsibilities, best methods for communication, milestones, etc. make a team charter with your team that addresses the following: Ground rules and expectations: What ground rules should we adopt about how we interact with one another, conduct meetings, etc.? Communication: What is the preferred method of communication? How often will we communicate and what forms will communication take? What are the expectations for responding to digital communication? (For example, within 24 hours.) Meetings: What, when, and how does the team plan on meeting? Synchronously, asynchronously? Are there times when all team members are free to meet? Conflict: How will your team resolve conflict? Elect one member of the team to summarize the team charter in the final post. Each person, including the person who summarized the charter, should reply to that post with their agreement.
