In this project, you will need to analyze a real$-$world network data set from a domain of your choice. This could be

a data set that naturally represents a network or something that you decide to model as a network. For this

network, you will need to find and predict functional roles of nodes in the network and rank the node importance

by aggregating various node centrality and importance features. For example, in a transportation network, you can

identify nodes that serve as important hubs and destinations, as well as critical junctions which are somehow

important in the network. You can then rank these different types of nodes by their importance and analyze the

results in terms of their implications in the domain. You should also do $$what$-$if$$ analysis and try to see what

happens when certain nodes or links get removed and$/$or added to the network. For example, what would happen

to the role of the most important bridge node in the network if another transportation pathway is built?
