In this project, you will step into the shoes of a consultant dealing with a manufacturer of pulp, paper and other forest products and formulate mitigation strategies to manage the risks that the company is facing. The project is divided into two broad areas as mentioned below:

Assess the current state of the organisation with respect to the following:

The risk and risk areas of the organisation

The risk maturity stage of the organisation

The type of ERM framework most suitable and viable

Mitigate the risk faced by the organisation:

Plot the risks on a risk map and categorise them into various risk zones

List down four aggravating factors for the forest produce industry impacting the revenue generation of the organisation

Frame mitigation strategies to reduce the risk faced by these aggravating factors

Plotting the risks on a heat map, calculating risk scores and prioritising the risks accordingly $30$ marks The risk plotted on the heat map should be correct in terms of:

Average likelihood score calculated,

Prioritisation order to mitigate risk.

Listing down aggravating factors and mitigation strategies to reduce risk from them $10$ marks The aggravating factors and their mitigation strategies should be relevant to the factors faced by the forest produce industry and the organisation.
