In this question, where is the 12.40 in the tree coming from along with all the other numbers? I think 1/8 is coming from 8 possibilities of 3 coins being flipped, then 1/4 for 2 coins and 1/2 on the lower branch for 1 coin flip. I cant figure out where the numbers on the first 3 branches are coming from. Please help!

If the player is not dealt any Face Cards (there are 12 of them in the deck) then they are given a single coin to ip. If the player is dealt one Face Card then they are given two coins to ip, and if both of the dealt cards are Face Cards, then the player is given three coins to ip. The player wins $10 for each coin that lands Heads. If yen know that the last person who played this game did not win any money, what is the probability that they were not dealt any Face Cards? Hint: When you. draw the second stage of the tree, you do not need to draw the branches for every possible amount won, but can just draw branches .mpreaenting \"no money won\" and "some money won\" since that is really all you an: interested in here. | Adobe Acrobat Reader DC - |
