Linear regression allows us to establish the correlation of the listing price of homes and their size in square feet. Finding the best possible selling price of a house is priority for both the homeowner and the agent in the real estate industry. Many factors are considered when determining a selling price, a home's square footing seems to be one of the more predominant factors. I believe that the scatter plot shows us that as the amount of square footage increases, the listing price increases as well. Data Collection The representative data is a simple random sample of the East North Central region. A formula was used to provide a truly random sample.
