What other strategies might be used to address the gap?

The Institute of Medicine states, "that by being safe; timely, effective, equitable, and patient-centered you form the basis for quality and payment reform strategies.""These dimensions also creating the National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs) and quality measures that control the value-based purchasing programs and payment reforms. Also one of the important and driving factors behind Quadruple Aim.

By utilizing the S.T.E.E.E.P strategies, you can measure the quality of healthcare by first, reducing harm caused in the delivery of health care, making sure the patients are (SAFE.) Secondly, strengthen patients and there families on medications and treatments, being more (PATIENT-CENTERED.) Thirdly, communicating effectively and coordinating care, (TIMELY.) The forth, promoting effective prevention and treatment of chronic disease, (EFFICIENT.) The fifth, working with different population on the best practices of healthy living,(EQUITABLE.) Then the sixth, reducing patient cost for health care, both (EFFECTIVE & EFFICIENT.)

All these different initiatives being very important in my career, all in which I will have to know and Master, being effective in the field of Medical Administration. Wish everyone the best in their careers and academic journeys.
