In your opinion, does culture drive laws or vice-versa? Provide your rationale by sharing an example. In my opinion culture does drive laws. As society continues to grow as do we. We see that the traditional ways such as "marriage" changes from only being between a man and a Woman to also being between the same sex. Religious values are being more watered down in this day and age which is changing societies views on what is right and what is wrong. From a Christian worldview, what societal conditions are necessary to support the idea that laws should be an instrument in the pursuit of justice? I think that from a Christian worldview that it is very necessary we should vote on laws which align with the Bible rather than just voting on laws that are nowadays accepted by society. We as Christians should stand up for what is right rather than back down due to the "social norm". Has the evolution of laws engendered a greater aptitude toward cultural unity, collaboration, and diversity of ideas? Explain. I do believe that the evolution of laws has engendered a greater aptitude toward cultural unity. The fact that people rather than standing on their beliefs tend to vote on or agree with the majority so that they are not looked at as an outsider is a big part of it. With society being more inclusive and accepting than ever the diversity of ideas becomes a regular thing.
