In this scenario you are the recruiter getting the High School Key Club student to join the military and are selling the three benefits below to get the individual to join (Topic: High School Key Club Students) Attention Statement: Catch their attention and hold it! This step is very important as you want to start your presentation off with a bang! Ideas of things to do: o Startling Statement (Ex. Introducing a problem in a startling way) o Rhetorical Question o Quote Personal Introduction: 


In this section, explain your Air Force story. Highlighted Organization: What makes you stand out from the other components/branches? What is your organization about? Motivation: Address a problem that your audience might face and let them know why they should pay attention to you. How are you going to solve that problem and what are they going to get out of listening to what you have to say? It's in our nature to want to know, "What's in it for me?" Giving the incentive to listen helps entice the audience to want to pay attention to you. Overview: What are you going to be speaking about? Body: (The 3 benefits will be Tech School, Teamwork, and Medical Care) 3 Main Ideas (Relevant Features) / Support Main Points w/Appropriate Benefits

• Must meet the Military Entrance Processing Station physical standards 


• Requires a commitment (component specific)
