In your reading this week, Covey offered the notion of "principled centered leadership" (PCL). Given that many leadership ideas have come and gone, discuss your personal thoughts about this idea. In your submission, include:

1. A summary of principled centered leadership

2. A discussion of the ideas presented that you agree and disagree with. Explain why.

3. Discuss how you might go about implementing principled centered leadership in your organization (note that this could be a big company, small company, an organized group of almost any kind, or can even be discussed in the context of a family dynamic. Which of the components of Covey's PCL are helpful? Can they be executed? What problems might you face? What behavioral dynamics must you consider?

4. Given that leadership of any style can be largely driven by an organizational culture, how might you go about changing leadership behavior in an organization that does not practice PCL? What barriers might you face? What behavioral dynamics must you consider?

Scoring: Answer the questions fully and with detail. I expect no less than two paragraph answers for EACH question posed. I am looking to see that you exhibit an understanding of the concepts and ideas outlined in Covey's introductory chapter and that you can apply them to a real-world environment.
