Hello everyone, hope your week is going well. The practice I chose to evaluate is The workplace culture is described by employees as stressful, competitive, or alienating. I chose this practice because I work for the Department of Motor Vehicles and the environment can be very stressful. The general factors that contribute to this practice are employees feeling overworked, low pay, no opportunities for growth or advancement, no support from management, and having management.

The negative repercussions this practice has on its employees is that employees will tend to quit their job resulting in high turnover rates, and they can become sad and depressed, or unmotivated to work. These negative impacts on employees will then impact the local community because of bad customer service. This in return can impact the profits of the business and affect the loyalty of its customers.

If a more people-friendly practice was in place, employees would be happier on the job, the community could get exceptional service, the businesss operations would be running efficiently and smoothly as well as profits increasing and/or be steady.
