In-class Activity on RACI Chart

Based on the problem statement below, create a RACI chart

Joe Fleming is the Director of Store Operations for Walmart Canada. Joe has obtained executive approval to develop and implement new software to manage the inventory in Walmart stores. The management team has made it clear that Joe is personally responsible for ensuring that the requirements represent what the stores really need, and the system design is robust enough to support the core tasks that the store needs to manage inventory. Joe agreed, but requested an experienced IT project manager for the project, since he does not personally have the technical expertise to assess the quality of the coding and testing portions of the project. Joe has engaged a team of IT professionals who need to complete the following tasks:

• Gather Requirements
• System Design
• Coding
• Testing
• Implementation

In order to produce the deliverable, Joe has recruited 3 more team key members for this project:

• Sam, the Project Manager (experienced in managing IT projects)
• Bob, Senior Programmer / Analyst (experienced in gathering requirements, designing and developing software for in store applications)
• Marie, Quality Assurance (QA) Tester (experienced individual who started career at Walmart working in stores)
