Indiana passes a state law requiring all trucks in the state to have curved contoured mud flaps. This requires all trucks to stop at the state line, buy mud flaps, install them, and continue as Indiana is the only state with this law. When challenged in court the law is invalid under the dormant commerce clause O the law is valid because states have the right to pass laws relating to health, safety, welfare, and morals the law is invalid as discriminating against out of state truckers under the privileges and immunities clause O the law is valid because it is applied equally to in state and out of state truckers
