Since a business case has given, you must take this description as the basis to analyse and identify project issues, apply different project management tools and techniques to plan and manage the project. Project Management Plan helps the management team to maintain a constant focus towards delivering the project in accordance with the customers' needs, wants, and expectations. The development of such a plan is comprised of the business case, project objectives and goals, success criteria, scope, high level schedule, stakeholder accountabilities, the communication plan, benefits and costs, governance and resourcing, the management approaches and a high level risk plan. Alpha Hotels Management System Business need and environment Alpha Hotels Chains is now running its 20 hotels around the country on twelve-year-old computing infrastructure that is significantly different in each of the hotel chains and so lacks integration. As a result, each hotel runs independently, and data reconciliation from each hotel must be done manually. This results in significant waste of a company's resources in terms of both money and time. In comparison to their competitors, the company's customer satisfaction score and image are likewise declining. The Hotel Chain will be able to function more efficiently, lowering expenses and eventually becoming more profitable, if the HotelWare hotel management system is introduced. Alpha Hotels Chains will also be able to use the new computing facilities to record and store consumer information in order to secure repeat business, generate new business, and increase hotel occupancy levels. One of the chain's goals is to grow to 24 hotels by the end of the year, and the profits generated by the successful installation of the new computer facilities might be used to help achieve this aim. The objectives of the project of implementing a modern cloud based integrated computing system across the hotel chain are: To set up, configure, and personalise a HotelWare instance on cloud in order to unify functions across several hotel branches and save money. To install adequate desk top computers for business users in all Alpha hotels in order to improve the efficiency of the customer service operation and thus the satisfaction index. To train users on how to use the HotelWare management system to improve on function administration and subsequently profitability.

Project Requirements

The project is expected to be commenced and fully implemented within 8 months with a working deadline of February 2023. The personal computers that are to be used with the new system should be delivered within 90 days of the contract. The project is expected to have a one-off cost of $ 1, 000,000 and subsequent annual fees of $ 350,000. Training of the system users is also required before the system goes live. The overall process of the HotelWare hotel management system includes Initial planning, Scoping, Development, Deployment, Testing and Training. Major stakeholders of this project are Executive Director, IT Manager, Project Manager and Project Team Members from functional, software, hardware and quality assurance team and contractor.
