This resource file will be an example of what you will use in future FLE teaching/workshops/classes to help you plan learning activities based on the developmentally, individually, and socio-culturally appropriate interests, needs, and challenges of your participants.
For each of the ten content areas of family life education, you will find at least three activities/resources. Therefore, your resource file should include a minimum of 30 resources/activities which are primarily FLE centered.
You should include a variety of resources/activities that relate to the various populations for whom a FLE might provide encounter: Parents (single, step, adoptive, teenage, etc.), Children, Couples; General Public; and Staff Development. Class notes or PowerPoint slides ARE not appropriate resources.
Resources. Your resource file must include (but is not limited to) the list below. You can pick and choose as many or as few of the resource categories as you like, and you can have multiples of any of the categories. In order to avoid confusion with grading, please label each of your resources as one of the following:
