Identify a major organizational change he or she experienced over the past five years, review the change process, and collect other relevant information about the organizational change.

Chosen organization- A local shipping company.

1) Overall, what is the change all about? When did it happen and how long did it last? How broad is the change to the organization?

2) What external environmental pressures and/or internal organizational factors triggered the change?

3) What type of change is it - strategy, product, culture, technology, or else? Is it planned or emergent? Incremental or transformational? Shallow or deep?

4) Who led the change? What kind of vision did the leader create for the change? How did the leader communicate the vision to the staff?

5) Who resisted the change and for what causes? How strong was the resistance? What approaches did the change leader take to manage the resistance?

6) What stages or what kind of process did the change go through over time? What did the change leader do during the stages or process?

7) What has the change turned out? Is it an effective or ineffective change? Is the change sustainable?

8) Are there any specific change theories or models that can be applied to explain or analyze this case of change?

9) How did the employees feel about the change?

10) What change affected the company negative and what change affect it positively?

11) What have you learned from the executive's change experience?
