1. Kylo has worked for AKJ Accounting Firm for 12 years and has received a salary of $25,000.00 annually. His contract of employment does not provide for termination. Without being given a reason, his contract is terminated with two months' pay in lieu of notice. Advise the Accounting firm on their action.

2. Trinity, a senior Jeweler for Diamonds International Inc, was employed for 3 years with no disciplinary complaints on her record, was terminated without notice when she returned to work from leave, for alleged theft of diamonds from the store. These allegations were never proven. Advise as to whether Trinity has a sound claim for wrongful dismissal.

3. Ladane was employed by Tune in Company as Head Radio Announcer for the last 4 years. There were no terms in the letter of appointment with respect to notice or payment in lieu of notice on termination, but it did refer to a period of two months' notice to be given by either party of the intent to terminate the employment relationship. In July 2007 Ladane's contract was terminated effective the same day via letter where he was offered a sum representing two months' pay as well as his salary for July. Advise Tune in Company.
