Ronnoco maintains 4 mining sites in total, all in remote areas of Northern Ontario. The following information will be useful to you: - The company recently purchased the 4 mining sites from another company - Ronnoco has taken on the existing staff working in the mines at each site. There are approximately 1,000 employees distributed evenly across the 4 sites - At each site is an office with personnel including an HR Generalist, 1 Payroll Clerk, 1 H\&S/Trainer and an administrative assistant. The office staff report to the General Manager. In the mine there are approximately 30 supervisors who supervise and manage the mine workers on 3 shifts that operate 7 days a week, 365 days a year (with the exception of a mandatory 3 week closure that occurs each summer) - The employees working in the mine belong to a union. At each site there is a different union.
