Joe is a voluntary club administrator and he has the responsibility to organize a sporting

event. This event requires the expenditure of the following amounts:

Advertising and Promotion Costs RM 300.00

Trophies RM 200.00

Telephone, Postage and Stationery RM 100.00

Total Fixed Costs RM 1,000.00

At event, however, there will be other costs which will be dependent upon the number of

people who turn up and participate. These costs are as follows:

Joe is worried about how many participants he needs to break-even if he charges a

competition entry price of RM20.00 per participant. He wants to calculate the minimum

number of participants he needs so that the event does not lose money.

spreadsheet is given below. Ensure your document has professional appearance and has

appropriate headers and footers.
