Instructions - Working in pairs, you will conduct a needs analynis for one of your current workplaces or a workplace one of you have been employed with in the past. You will apply the needs analysis procets to determine what training you think would be appropriate for this workplace. - Your task will be dividod into 5 distinct parts. Please use subheadings to clarify the sections. Part 1 - A brief description of the type of industry and the job itself, it is not necessary for you to share the specific name of the company, but you should explain the type of work the company pertorms. This should be about a paragraph in length. Your explanation should provide content for the job as well as any of the recommendations you make in the following sections. Part 2 Choose any 2 of following organizational analysis considerations. Strategic alignment Environment Resource analysis Organizational context - Look to chapter 3 for more detail on these considerations - Provide 1 specific example for both of your chosen considerations of the need you believe should be addressed. Your example should provide enough detail so that the need is easily understood in context. - Brief explanation of why the neced is relevant and why it needs to be addressed. Part 3 - Determine how you would conduct a task analysiz. - Explain which jobs your analysis would target, and what elements (irmportance, difficulty, frequency) you would berating. - You should brietly explain what methods you would utilie to collect the information regarding the task. - To be clear, 1 am NOT asking you to conduct the tark analysis. I only want to know what you would be looking for based on the points above. Part 4 - Determine and briefly explain, relating baci, to the theory, 3 barriers to effective performance for persons that hold the positions you are reviewing. - Look to chapter 3 for more information on these barriers. You must erpand beyond the general ideas for fuil marks.
