Instructions

Your supervising attorney needs your help with the following tasks:

1. A client in New York has been charged with manslaughter. She has asked you to provide a copy of the relevant statute. She did not give you a citation.

2. A client in Massachusetts has been charged with violating Chapter 265, Section 13 of the Massachusetts law. He has asked you to provide a copy of the statute.

3. A client in your home state comes into the office and indicates he wants a divorce. Your supervising attorney asks you to provide a copy of the statute(s) that identify the grounds for divorce.

4. A client consults your office and indicates that he has been the victim of sexual harassment in his workplace. The attorney asks you to provide a copy of the statute(s) in your home state that indicate sexual harassment is a form of discrimination based on sex.
