Insurance is something that all businesses must deal with and Joe is making a point to have resources available for anyone associated with CBC (cannabis business consortium) that needs them. This discussion board simulates the conversation you would have during the subcommittee meeting.

For this discussion, briefly discuss the general insurance needs of all businesses and then relate those needs to cannabis businesses. Does a business in the cannabis industry have the same needs as other business? What may they need to have covered by insurance that other businesses may not?

You do not need to focus on the concerns of insurance companies and their willingness to work with cannabis-based businesses in this discussion. That will come up later in the module.
