Competencies associated with interpersonal effectiveness and relationship management were similarly examined. Ongoing development of interpersonal skills and competencies is a necessity for relationship management, personal engagement, and professional effectiveness. The assignment is the opportunity for a student to analyze, critique, and develop a personal guide for a selected interpersonal skill. The requirements in this assignment will be used in the course's final week as a course project to analyze several interpersonal skills and competencies. Topic: Navigating Change The navigating change topic is the interpersonal skill/competency to be analyzed this week. Analysis required: - A practical definition from experience, coursework, or a research source. Include a citation if the content is from a research source or paraphrased from a research source. - Identify and describe a recent or significant situation you were involved in related to the interpersonal management skill or competency. Identify at least one new tactic, action, or approach you would utilize to be more effective in a similar situation. - From your experience and/or coursework, identify at least one tactic or technique a leader can apply relative to the skill/competency to improve effectiveness with the team or an individual. It must be different than the one discussed above. Describe the tactic or technique and its relevance to the skill/competency. - Explain how it can be meaningful to the engagement of employees? - Provide a scenario or example with a team or individual where it is applied or used by the leader. - Will the action by the leader motivate you or a team, or increase the effectiveness of a team or individual?
