Connect one (1) dry cell to the ends of the called wire as shown in the fig. 2. 3. Close the loop and try to pick up some thumbtacks using the pointed end or head of the mail. Record how many you are able to pick up, (see fig. 3.) 4. Opon the circuit and observe what happens to the thumbtacks. 5. Repeat steps 1 to 4 with 20 turns of wire around the mall, 6. Count the number of thumbtacks you are able to pick up. Compare this number with that in step 3. 7. Connect three (3] dry cells in series with ends of the wires called 20 turns around the nall, (see fig. 4) 8. Close the loops and pick up thumbtacks, Count how many you are able to pick up and compare this with the previous results. Guide Questions 1.
