Along the way unexpected things can happen, that is when control comes in by taking notes of what has happen and respond to the problem as it comes. Control is one of the important parts in the four management functions it makes adequate preparation for corporate to keep their goal, to be improved, and change. Control means a lot in the business; however, it is a process of organization in one reach for a goal to keep something from happening that will cause errors for a company. According to (Lumen n.d.) The production metrics for Lacks Tracks management

There are many reasons Lacks Tracks cycle much be concerned about their production metrics. with the production metrics plants in observable from of standards that means the company is failing to reach the maximum production which is making more business costly. For example, the percentage cost and units on every single one of their metrics is higher but, the Delaware facility had the lowest utilization rate and higher defect rate, scraps rates, and shipping problem. While the New Jersey facility had the highest utilization rate 70's but faced issues with quality, safety incidents training. The Maryland facility had s good yield rate and still focus on training with low utilization and scraps rates, low safety incidents but faced issues with quality and shipping problems, while the Texas facility has the fastest manufacturing cycle but the highest production cost and quality issues. also looking at Alaska they have high defect rates. will that be said, employee safety is a concern in all locations. Improvement needs to be done in terms of yield in Alaska, New Jersey, and Delaware form what I see on the metrics. Overall, the cost of production deviation is utilization rate, it is the metric that minimize improvement for all margin in profit. Lacks Tracks management should spend their time widely in terms of making better decisions. "Performance base is critical to achievement the management control" (Lumen leaning n.d.)

Comparing the performance of four plants

Comparing the actual performance of the four plants standards could help manager know why standards were not met (Lumen learning n.d.). moreover, in terms of total cost (per unit) the company's out performance in most of their plant. Maryland, Delaware, Texas, and New Jersey) is the most important deviations from the standards among the plants because, all four manufactures have been better than the other in terms of cost and units. Generally, speaking the actual performance metric is good, the company needs to implement corrective actions so Alaska total cost can match up to the standards of the other manufacture. "Every time analyzing deviations comes in manager should know why standards were not met" (Lumen learning n.d.)

The controls that could be used by lacks Tracks management.

One control that can be used for Track management could be the feedback control by giving data on the system, performance feedback can monitor and fix any deviation. "It is reactive" (Lumen learning n.d.) when the feedback controls happen after the process is done.

Another controls that could be used is the proactive controls are known for prevention. It helps with problem and find a way to fix it. the entail anticipating possible issues and acting to address them before they happen. "As act of god" (Lumen learning n.d.) proactive is also known for unlikely incidents. These controls can be used to best meet the company standards in terms of production in the industry. The data highlights the importance of metrics such as utilization rate, production cost, manufacturing cycle time, and defect rate in the production process. These metrics can be used to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions to enhance the production process. In addition, management controls such as feedback controls and proactive controls can be implemented to monitor and fix any deviations from standards in the production process. Proactive controls, which involve anticipating possible issues and acting to address them before they happen, may be particularly useful for Lacks Tracks in ensuring continued success.

Total quality management

Overall, Lacks Tracks has significant areas of improvement in its productions facilities, but with data-driven decision-making, management controls and commitment to continual improvement, the company can enhance its production process and achieve continued success.
