The company is considered as a titan of e-commerce, ranging from services like online payments, data storage, logistics and others[1]. The company has ventured into services, besides its core business of selling products online. Amazon Prime, one of the signature membership programs of the company has an estimated 85 million subscribers in US alone[2] Amazon in Canada Amazon was launched in Canada in June 2002, and at the time Canada Post was the sole distributor of Amazon products[3]. Over the years Amazon has hugely expanded its product and service mix in Canada, and today the company sells a very large number of its own products, provides a platform for other sellers, and provides services including Amazon Prime, AWS (Amazon Web Services) and others.
