Introduction: We're now in Module 4. By now, you've pitched at least four (4) different products to four (4) different target markets. You should feel more comfortable with what a quality pitch looks like. Now, you're going to take what you learned from these PitchIt! Assignments and translate it to pitching something else: yourself. Instructions: Everyone is going to develop an elevator pitch (pitch statement). You may either pitch yourself (as if you were in an interview), or if you have a legitimate business idea, you may pitch that too. Regardless, here's what you're going to do. Step #1: Write out the pitch. Yes...I want you to write it out word-for word. Spend time crafting the pitch to make sure it does exactly what you want it to do. Step #2. Record the pitch. After writing it out, I then want you to record yourself pitching it. The pitch should be anywhere from 30 - 60 seconds. It should be a refined, finished product. In other words, it should look like you practiced several times and are very prepared. This is a great practice for interviews, business idea creation, etc.
