Is the color of the light at max the same color as the solution being studied? Can you explain Beer's Law and let me know if I am correct that the absorption is proportional to light path through a concentration. From my understanding, if you beam a light through a .15M solution of XYZ compared to the a solution with 2.0M the solution will have the greater absorption rate? Also, please include lambda max and its relation to Beer's Law.

This is where I get confused. Please elaborate in details and a easy example. Thanks
