A one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was performed to assess whether there were statistically significant variations in intergovernmental growth rates depending on the kind of county. Meier et al. (2015) found that the t-test is a useful tool for comparing the mean results of two distinct groups. A comparative analysis was conducted using a t-test administered independently to examine the differences in environmental expenses between regions located along the coast and those located inland. At last, an ANCOVA was utilized to evaluate the impact of political affiliation regarding the correlation within intergovernmental rate of growth and municipality type. The findings indicate that the outcome of the t-test showed a significant difference (t = 3.708, p = 0.00) in the quantity of all expenditures devoted towards environmental expenses among coastal and non-coastal regions.
