The distribution of the number of pumpkin munchkin customers is: # customers per day Probability 5 0.15 10 0.40 15 0.35 20 0.10 Customers order 1, 2, 3 or 4 dozen pumpkin munchkins according to the following distribution: # dozen ordered per Probability customer 1 0.30 2 0.40 3 0.20 4 0.10 Munchkins sell for $3.50 per dozen. They cost $2.00 per dozen to make. All munchkins not sold at the end of the day are sold at half price to a local NotsoFresh Market. Automation constraints require munchkins to be made in batches of 10 dozen. Using Monte Carlo simulation in Excel, simulate customers and their order then use that to determine the net profit that DnD will make for each of the possible batches it can bake each day.
