It is a leader's responsibility to communicate regarding change but to also empower their team to adapt to the change. According to Malin et al. (2024), leaders have the responsibility of making the work environment safe for their teams. Empowering comes from education regarding the change that is taking place as well as knowing what role the team plays in implementing that change. The more resources the team is equipped with, the better they are to handle the change and the hiccups that may come along the way. Also, the leader can ensure that the team has enough staff to adapt to the change that is taking place. Having a nursery nurse staffed will always help with our infants who are going through withdrawal. When the leader can provide these things, the team will be more inclined to flow with change
