It is after hours and the hotel after hours procedure is in place. The hotel reception is only open for guests already inside the building. Hotel occupants must have a room key to gain access to the hotel building. There is a 24 hour phone number direct to the Hotel Manager on the door outside for people who have lost their key or for any emergency situations. There is a call that comes through to the Hotel Manager at 2.30am from a guest, the guest is slurring their words and is difficult to understand. The hotel manager tries to get the guests name and room number. But, can not understand what the guest is saying. The guest is getting increasingly agitated and starts raising his voice, frustrated that they can not get back into the hotel after their night out.
