It is believed that rates of female child mortality are lower in countries with a higher GNP per capita. We need to consider if there is a linear relationship between GNP and female mortality at the time the data were collected. Using data of a sample of 101 countries female child mortality rate per 1000 live births (childmf) has been regressed against GNP per capita (US$), and the results are shown in the following pages.

a)Comment on how well the regression line provides a good fit to the data.
