It is common practice for businesses to place a jurisdiction clause in a contract. As such, the business is then dictating the venue in which any legal case resulting around those products will be heard. Even more common, most modern contracts have a choice of law clause revolving around their ADR (mediation or arbitration) agreement. As a corporation, is this in the best interest of the company? Also, is it in the best interest of the consumer?
